Graham lives overlooking the wild River Severn. He has recently completed a series of paintings of the river. These new works show his responses to the light, colour and atmosphere of the estuary and everchanging movement of the water. Grahams' work is vibrant and enlivening and has been widely exhibited. Using a rich pallet of colour, his preferred medium is oils. His many years of teaching art, combined with overseas travel has led him to develop a representational style after a long period of abstract paintings. Graham also makes blockprints finding a satisfying discipline in them - a complete contrast to the fluidity of painting. Using different skills, his emphasis is on design rather than composition throughout the whole cutting and printing process. All his prints are made by hand without a printing press. Always welcomes visitors. Call first.
Oils on canvas, blockprints on various papers, acrylics are Grahams preferred mediums.
Paintings £100 - £450, prints £40 - £300
