Professional bespoke furniture maker David has lived and worked in the Forest of Dean for 35 years. He offers a genuine made to order, bespoke service, with furniture made to last a lifetime. He selects from the finest timbers, much of it local to the Forest of Dean. His range includes designing and making fitted and free-standing furniture, kitchens and bedrooms. He is on the register of Makers for The Crafts Council. The clients' ideas are appreciated and David makes sure that his furniture, whether it's for the kitchen or the bedroom is designed and made to look spectacular. He works hard to meet the clients' needs regarding blending in with their home environment and tastes.
David moved to The Forest of Dean in 1975 when he lived with his family as part of a self reliant community group. He was inspired to make furniture by the beautiful trees of the Hudnalls Woods that surrounded his home. He trained and worked with a local furniture maker before starting out on his own trying to follow the principles of the "Arts & Crafts" movement. He is a well known and respected craftsman with articles appearing in "Good Wood Working" magazine. Please 'Phone to visit.
