Sarah specialises in oil paintings of the Forest of Dean. Viewing Sarah's landscapes paintings is like taking a walk through the glorious scenery of the Dean and Wye Valley. She is exhibiting at a wide range of galleries and centres, including the Dean Heritage Museum, please see our Events page for more detail. She began painting when she was in her 20's and lived in Oxfordshire. Sarah was successful there, taking part in the Oxford Art Week, exhibiting, selling her work and was well reviewed by the Oxford Times. She studied with a local well known painter developing her techniques in oil painting. When she moved to the Forest, she started painting the local scenery prolifically. Her joy and love of the wooded walks,the quiet secret places, lakes and natural beauty of the Forest of Dean are reflected in her work. Sarah paints the changing seasons, going out every day to explore with her camera and sketch pad. She exhibits constantly and holds her own Village Exhibition every year in March/April.
